Having a self-care routine is so important to leading a happy life. As human being who has basic needs and routines, if those needs and routines aren’t met or kept, things can quickly slip out of place, resulting in feeling mentally drained and sometimes lost.
The longer I practice selfcare and self-love, the better I get at controlling my thoughts of not being good enough. Don’t allow yourself to slip into the mindset that you don’t need to take care of yourself, Make yourself a priority.
Sleep is one of the biggest things neglected but has the biggest impact on how we feel physically, mentally and spiritually. I know if I don’t get enough sleep, my attitude is not the best and I seem to eat more carbs trying to keep myself awake. Understanding the needs of your body is important. If tired and run-down take a nap, go to bed early, take a raincheck on a girl’s hangout or favorite tv show. Get some shut-eye
I make it a top priority to get outdoors first thing in the morning during my exercise routine. I can breathe the fresh air, listen to the birds, and take in everything around me. This daily habit reminds me of how beautiful the world is, how grateful I am to be alive and living in it. Appreciate every small blessing in my life
I’ve always oved physical activities, getting outside and moving my body. It such an important factor on how I feel day-to-day. It provides mental clarity. Therefore, I love my routine of waking up in the early morning and moving my body. I am left feeling positive, excited, motivated and ready to conquer the day.
